There are different courtyards within the complex connected through a series of flower gardens. Inside the courtyard of the main temple there is a fresh water spring that serves as a source of holy water for prayers and ceremonies in cleansing and purification rituals. Various parts of the temple's inner sanctuary remain out of the reach of non-pilgrims. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Mahadeva.

Balian Beach- It is one of the best surfing spots in western Bali, it has become a paradise for surfers and surf fans.

Located in the Lalang Linggah village area where the river of the same name "Balian" is located. Its story is related to the arrival of a holy priest from Dang Hyang Nirartha (founder of the Tanah Lot Temple). In the 15th century he passed through this place on his sacred journey to visit the island and it is said that when he arrived at this place he found many sick people, so he placed a magic wand in the river and ordered the sick to bathe in your stream. Then immediately those people were healed. Due to the river's effectiveness in curing diseases the locals call it "Balian" which in Balinese means shaman / healer (who can cure the disease), it has 11 tributaries, considered sacred by the locals it is used for purification rituals (penglukatan) . The waters of the Balian River flow directly into the sea. Like most Balinese beaches, the best time to visit is just before sunrise or sunset. It should be noted that shark attacks do not occur in the waters of Indonesia, although some have been seen on this beach, so precautions must be taken. Nearby we can find other attractions such as the Soka beach that has beautiful landscapes and the dragon fruit gardens (Pitaya) found in the town of Antap.
